1. Player's bio/description:

My name is Patrick Hargett. I was born and raised in Gentofte, a small town right outside of Copenhagen, Denmark as the youngest brother of two. I'm half American, half Danish as my father is from Houston, Texas and my mother from Denmark. From I was a small kid my parents made the decision that my father would only speak English to me and my mother only Danish, for that reason both languages come equally natural to me. Before I came to Madrid and signed a contract for the season with the Toros, I was working full time as a personal trainer back in Copenhagen as I have a huge passion for weightlifting. When I'm not playing football or lifting the iron, I enjoy taking long walks on the beach holding hands and candlelit dinners. Haha no, I'm a big jokester and I'm always down for having a good time!

2. When was the first time you discovered american football ? When did you start playing it?

Sports has always been a big part of my life. I'm half American, half Danish and my father played football when he was younger, so it came pretty naturally to me. I started playing when I was 12 years old, which was the youngest teams Denmark had back then.

3. In which position did you start playing? Did you play in other positions?

I've played pretty much every position you could imagine, except for maybe o-line and TE. I actually started out playing RB and DE, but they quickly moved me over to QB when they figured out I had a cannon for an arm lol.

4. How did you feel when you scored your first touchdown?

The first time I scored a touchdown I felt this huge rush, and I just think I knew from then on out I was made to play this sport.

5. Offense or deffense?

I truly love playing on both sides of the ball, but I think I prefer offense because the best thing I know is having the football in my hands.

6. What do you like best about this sport? And what do you like least?

My favorite thing about the sport is, that it's the only sport that requires so many things from you. A good football player has to be both smart, athletic, strong, fast and tough./My least favorite thing about the sport is the injuries that come with it.

7. Do you remember any specific game? Why?

My first year of playing we were playing this one team, that was destroying everyone. No one had scored a touchdown on them all year. I was playing RB that game and broke a long run for a touchdown and even though we were losing the game by a lot, the whole team was jumping up and down on the sideline celebrating my run. That memory just always sticks with me.

8. Do you perform any game rituals before a game?

I don't really have a specific pregame ritual. I just play by the words "you look good, you play good" so I always try to bring the swag haha. Other than that some good hip hop tunes will always get my juices flowing before the game!

9. Do you play any other sports?

I've played various other sports throughout my youth. Most recently I have competed in a bodybuilding category by the name of Men's Physique.

10. What do you usually do apart from football? What hobbies do you have?

I think it's safe to say that I'm a gym rat. When I'm not lifting the weights I like to kick back with my friends, watch a movie or go out and have a good time.
